| Quickstrike '94 Girls Place 3rd at the Disney Soccer Showcase Proving Ground |
For the second year in a row, the Quickstrike '94 Girls competed at the Proving Ground of the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex. Disney's Soccer Showcase presented by Chelsea Football Club is the ultimate place for top clubs to be seen by hundreds of college coaches looking for great soccer talent. Rated #1 youth soccer tournament in the U.S. in a Soccer America survey, Disney's Soccer Showcase gives athletes a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages set for youth soccer in this country.
The girls took 2nd in their bracket placing them into a playoff game, where they defeated FC Dallas Youth '94 after battling back from a 1-0 deficit at half time. The win gave the girls 3rd place in the top tournament in youth soccer. Congratulations to a great showing!
The team would like to thank all the college coaches that took the time to come out and watch them play.
